Cedric Williams the builder has a great story of life on Pittwater that we hope to publish in the next few weeks.
HECTOR is a gorgeous timber classic cruiser, built in 1950 by C Williams of Pittwater, Sydney.
The Perkins 110 diesel does a reliable job of pushing her along at 8-10 knots.
The aft cockpit, with L shaped bench is comfortable for 6 guests and is all covered by the roof structure and removable aft and side canvas.
Moving into the saloon is seamless and her you'll find a more modern, refurbished saloon area with 4 seater dinette to starboard and extra berth to port. The large windows bring in plenty of light and have blinds to minimise the sun when you want. Forward of the saloon is a modern, u shaped galley area with plenty of bench space and storage. To port, forward is the traditional steering station and access to the port side deck through a sliding door and stairs.
Below forward you'll find an inviting sleeping area with double bed to port and single bunks to starboard. Further forward in the bow is a large head compartment.
All over you'll enjoy the classic feel with refurbished touches making life on board a joy.
HECTOR is berthed at the Anchorage Marina in Port Stephens.
