Wilson 34 Sloop Timber Huon pine, carvel planked

KURANA is a classic sloop-rigged yacht, designed and built in Tasmania by Walter and Noel Wilson. The boat was built for Noel Wilson on his property at Crooked Tree Point and constructed between 1960 - 1963. The craft was used by the Wilson family for many years and had several owners until purchased and sailed to Geelong in 2001. KURANA is carvel planked in Huon pine on a hardwood frame with a Huon pine and Tasmanian oak interior and is powered by a Volvo Penta 30HP Diesel engine, coupled to a fixed 3 blade propeller.
