There has been a bit of interest as to the work we’ve had done to upgrade MATILDA after purchasing her back in June. She had been well looked after, but had never been lived aboard long term, and although a lot of the equipment was new (eg winches, running rigging, standing rigging) many of the systems are original and that means nearly 50 years old. Initially we chose four things to spend money on, to make the cruising we intended to do, more enjoyable. In this video we explain what we have done and try to provide the rationale around our choices.
