This is the final call for entries into the second running of the ASC Classic Yacht & Couta Regatta 1 / 2 March!!
The forecast looks good and there should be no excuses for not turning up for a 'Celebration of Sail' of Classic Yachts. We are expecting some Coutas and Rangers from the Harbour to join the Pittwater Coutas for a Gaffers Division and I am hopeful that we could have a mixed Metre Boat division on the Saturday ( 5.5M, 6M & 8M )…….. plus other Bermudians!
As the NOR states, you can choose to do both days or just the Sunday. The Passage 'Race' will include Scotland Island but NOT Lion Island for the Sunday only participants! The SIs will confirm courses.
Please note that as the Sunday Event is not officially a ‘Race’, its a 'Celebration of Sail', a Cat 7 is not required, but insurance is required. ( same regs as WPYC )
As an added incentive to get together post race on Sunday, the ASC / Couta Assc will host free Paella and Sangria!! Raft up moorings will be available.
