CASTANET - New Zealand’s Hobart Challenger 55 years on.

We received an email from Rob Algie last week that caught my attention. Living in Auckland, he has recently acquired the 30ft Ron Swanson designed CASTANET which won both an Auckland-Suva and Hobart-Auckland
Race in the 1960’s.
She also came 8th in the 1967 Sydney Hobart. Rob, a talented and successful Mullet boat sailor had a chat with us about how and why he ended up as the new custodian and what his (exciting) plans are for the future.
